V&I AssemblerThe V&I Assembler will ensure a quality
cushion is produced by providing expertise and assistance in all
areas of valve and inflate and IFC. Assemble product using various
components according to established procedures and company policies
in all areas of the assembly department as needed. Would you like

Our Valve & Inflate department in Belleville, IL is now looking for
a V&I Assembler.Pay: $16.50/hr based on 40 hour work week
Key Tasks
ENSURES QUALITY PRODUCT IS ASSEMBLED BY:Assembling the airflow
(IFC) control valve components; inserting the IFC to the Quad
Select; applying the front and back housing with rivets and
assemble the IFC, O-ring, and knobs; checking spindle length.
Install valves, grommets, clean cushions, snaps, and inflate
cushions.Satisfies training and development needs BY:Assists in
training and orienting new employees; communicating effectively
with team leader and assistant team leader regarding both positive
and negative activities with product, equipment, or personnel;
assists with conducting root cause analysis and implementation of
corrective actions; resolving issues and answering questions
related to various techniques, processes, work orders, or jobs;
participating in cross training efforts as required.MAINTAINS
EFFICIENT WORKFLOW BY:Performing all functions of the valve and
inflate and IFC department including valving; inflating, cleaning;
ensuring FIFO (first in/first out) on materials; assembling and
installing IFC's. Inspecting product for defects that may cause
failures in assembly or final inspection; reporting issues
immediately to prevent problems from growing out of
control.MAINTAINS QUALITY SERVICE BY:Keeping error rates minimal
and within acceptable ranges; relaying quality information to IFC
and valve & inflate teams; maintaining an efficient work pace;
meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity,
accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed
