OverviewPosition Summary:The Enterprise Architect Lead provides
proactive and holistic guidance to IS leaders, product managers,
product owners, and distributed product delivery teams. This role
supports transformation and optimization initiatives, facilitates
the formulation and execution of digital and technology strategies,
mitigates risk, and drives innovation opportunities across the
organization. With a primary focus on aligning business and IT
strategies, the Enterprise Architect Lead leads the development and
management of the organization's enterprise architecture, ensuring
it serves as a robust framework for achieving organizational goals.
This role plays a key part in fostering a culture of continuous
improvement, enabling scalability, adaptability, and innovation to

values.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in business,
computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering,
system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent
experience of at least 10 years required.Experience:
- Experience in business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a
service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data,
microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
- Mentoring teams of up to ten resources, project planning,
implementation, technical documentation, training, technical
support and troubleshooting in Enterprise environment.
- Ten or more years of experience in at least three disciplines,
such as business, information, solution or technical architecture,
application development, middleware, information analysis, database
management, or operations in a multitier environment.Other

processes.ResponsibilitiesPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Guides a collaborative, cross-functional approach to mapping
the current and future state of business capabilities, value
streams and IT environment. Assembles the stakeholder expertise
needed to collectively surface performance improvement
opportunities and capability needs between and across processes and
business units, and recommends solutions to achieve targeted
business outcomes.
- Presents gap analyses and/or IT investment roadmaps that
reflect the status of the existing IT landscape, namely its ability
to contribute to future-state business capabilities around
ecosystems and digital platforms.
- Facilitates interaction with business leaders, product managers
and product owners in business-driven conversations about the risks
and implications of product decisions for lines of business,
business units and the wider enterprise.
- Assesses disruptive forces impacting the organization and
identifies technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enable
business strategy.
- Evaluates and develops the critical skills, competencies and
career paths for the EA team members; in particular, building the
business and behavioral competencies needed to support delivery of
EA's services while coaching and mentoring members of the EA
team.
- Determines the relationship between people, processes,
information, technology and other components of the enterprise, and
their relationships to one another and to the external
environment.
- Designs, reviews, and implements systems that support
Enterprise Infrastructure for Endpoints.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting and resolution of Severity 1
and Severity 2 problems. Provides Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when
required.
- Coordinates with other project team members as systems projects
are in process including applications, technical and vendor staff
to ensure constant communication and successful outcomes.
- Leads and collaborates with EA team members developing standard
practices and procedures to ensure the highest network availability
possible for our users. Identifies industry best practices and
incorporates them into the standards.
- Supports ongoing analysis of performance, availability, and
maintainability of the enterprise network to ensure superior
results. Troubleshoots, identifies and implements corrective
measures as appropriate to ensure issues are resolved before system
operation is threatened or critical problems arise.
- Develops and maintains accurate model and documentation of
current computer/endpoint architecture. Updates as required on a
timely basis.
- Performs technical reviews of new technologies and upgrades to
assist in planning and timing of implementation to ensure
improvements are achieved and planned benefits are realized as
anticipated with minimal impact and interruption to user
community.
- Develops, maintains and minimizes downtime across all systems
to ensure user satisfaction is maintained and operations are not
interrupted.
- Operates within Memorial's Code of Conduct and Ethics at all
times and constantly displays Memorial's Behavioral Standards.
- Performs other related work as required or requested.
