Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
• Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area.
  • BLS Basic Life Support
  • Other Skills & Knowledge: - IV Insertion - Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: - Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients. - Continual standing or walking. - Adapt to stressful situations.
