Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30) Guaranteed Hours: Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours. Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have active Illinois license or must be in the application process. Certifications: BLS and RRT required Must-Have: - Experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department - Proficiency in airway management including endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, intubation assist, nasal and oral airway placement, and suctioning - Experience with nebulizers such as hand-held, T-Piece, and trach collar - Skills in oxygen therapy including bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula, T-Piece, Trach Collar, and Venturi Masks - Ventilator management experience including BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting, and weaning from mechanical ventilation - Cerner experience - Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, and Trauma Level I and II experience preferred Job Description: - Work every other weekend as scheduled - Required on-call as needed for the department - Willingness to float within the hospital or affiliate hospitals to meet facility needs - Open to discussing schedule requests with the manager - Acceptance of first-time applicants - Non-billable orientation of 16 hours - Online modules to be completed virtually on the first day by EOD, then annually - Completion of non-clinical hours does not vary; module hours may vary for clinical roles - Flu Vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
