Job Title: X-Ray Technician Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 17:30); Will work 2x8s and 2x12s per week to total 40 hours Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without pay for the cancelled hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; First-time applicants accepted License: Active Illinois state license required Certifications: - ARRT - BLS Must-Have: - Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, Operating Room experience - Experience in Abdomen/GI, Chest/Thorax, Head, Lower Extremity, Mobile/Surgical, Spine and Pelvis, Upper Extremity X-Ray skills - Experience with O-ARM equipment - Cerner experience preferred - Level I Trauma experience preferred Job Description: - Will work every other weekend and holidays as needed - On-call requirement as needed - No floating within scope to meet facility needs - Open to accommodating block schedule; discuss schedule requests with manager - Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, NICU, ICU, Operating Room Abdomen/GI X-Ray Skills/Experience: - Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), Abdomen upright Chest and Thorax X-Ray Skills/Experience: - Chest AP, Chest Lateral Decubitus, Chest routine, Upper Airway (soft tissue neck) Head X-Ray Skills/Experience: - Facial bones, Orbits, Paranasal sinuses, Skull, Temporomandibular joints Lower Extremity X-Ray Skills/Experience: - Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tibia-Fibula Mobile/Surgical X-Ray Skills/Experience: - C-Arm Procedure, Portable abdomen, Portable Chest Spine and Pelvis X-Ray Skills/Experience: - Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Thoracic Spine Upper Extremity X-Ray Skills/Experience: - Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Wrist - Flexible with day or evening shifts when scheduled - Must arrive 3 business days prior to start for fingerprints if not requiring a state license in hand - Non-billable orientation up to 16 hours; modules completed virtually; annual completion required
