Accounts Payable Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee our AP operations. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial controls. Currently a one-person department, this position will be responsible for hands-on AP processing, with potential for team expansion as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Accurately code transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly accrual journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Ensure compliance with payment terms, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, including 1099 reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate records and oversee AP system integrations.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of AP experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
