R&D Designer Would you like to work in an international

Our "R&D" department in "Belleville, ILL location" is now
looking for a R&D Designer.
The
R&D designer plays a key role in transforming conceptual
designs into
detailed technical drawings and models. You will collaborate
closely with
engineers, designers, and other team members to develop accurate
and precise part,
assembly, and finished good designs in 3D CAD software utilizing
broad
knowledge of design principles and manufacturing methods and
technologies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-Collaborate
with engineers to understand project
requirements and objectives
-Create 3D models of parts and assemblies and
drawings of parts, assemblies, and finished goods utilizing
SolidWorks software
-Evaluate design concepts using various comparative
tools, prototypes, and tests and provide clear and concise
communication and
reports
-Assist in the development of prototypes and test
models
-Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing
results
-Update new and existing designs based on user,
marketing, engineering, production, and other cross-functional
feedback
-Revise and update existing CAD drawings to reflect
design changes and improvements
-Utilize broad design and manufacturing knowledge
and experience to create manufacturable, robust, and reliable
designs
-Create clear documentation sets including
specifications, inspection requirements, fabrication and assembly
procedures,
and final testing
-Ensure all drawings and design documentation comply
with industry standards and company guidelines
Education and Qualification Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Associate's degree with
adequate
relevant experience will be considered
-Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor,
Creo)
-Experience in medical device design and
manufacturing
-Strong understanding of regulatory standards for
medical devices
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to
detail
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team
environment
-Strong communication skills for presenting design
concepts and collaborating with stakeholders
-Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping
-Knowledge of materials used in medical device
manufacturing
-Familiarity with quality assurance processes and
