A Solution Architect-Innovation creates the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem, designing, describing, and managing the solution. This person builds the bridge between a business problem and the technology solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements needed to make that solution work.The Solution Architect will be responsible for implementing innovation strategies related to Generative AI, Agentic AI, and other emerging technologies such as AR/MR/VR, ambient intelligence, and robotics.
  • This role will research, design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies, focusing on Generative AI and Agentic AI, within Bunge.
  • This role will partner closely with other members of the BT Tech Innovation team, data scientists, business stakeholders, and external technology partners.
  • This role reports to the Director of Tech Innovation in the BT organization.Essential Functions:
    • Design and develop innovative, scalable, efficient, and secure solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, AR/VR/MR, Ambient Intelligence, and Robotics.
    • Lead the research, development, and implementation of innovative solutions based on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and other relevant emerging technologies on a global scale across Bunge.
    • Apply technical expertise to provide recommendations and roadmaps that solve complex problems without clear precedent.
    • Design, debug, and monitor the performance of solutions.
    • Document and share best practice knowledge for new solutions.
    • Provide technical leadership to Agile Squads and/or DevOps development teams, ranging in size from 6-8 team members, throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Bring a new and alternative perspective when reviewing and validating solution designs from other team members.
    • Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of advancements and best practices in Generative AI, Agentic AI, AR/VR/MR, ambient intelligence, robotics, and related emerging technologies.
    • Demonstrate expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with other major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
    • Exhibit proficiency with public Generative AI platforms and tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Anthropic, and other leading providers.
    • Possess practical experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for developing and deploying AI solutions.
    • Spearhead the creation of innovative, cost-effective, and scalable technical designs, simplifying complex processes and boosting overall efficiency.
    • Create solutions with a global perspective, influencing technology choices and driving impactful implementations across the organization.
    • Develop elegant, maintainable, and scalable solutions that prioritize simplicity and minimize complexity and cost.
    • Enable Bunge to adapt swiftly to market changes and maintain a competitive advantage by designing efficient and adaptable solutions.
    • Work closely with development teams and external partners.Minimum Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education & experience required, computer science degree preferred.
      • 11+ years of experience in designing & developing large scale, global solutions leveraging emerging technologies.
      • Demonstrated experience creating analysis of alternatives and presenting to stakeholders for buy-in and consensus.
      • 6+ years of experience in developing and deploying technical data and AI-dependent solutions, working with emerging technologies, and/or relevant software development.
      • English Fluency to engage in robust dialogue in technical forums without support is required.
      • Deep understanding of Generative AI and related fields, maintaining current expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, AR/VR/MR, ambient intelligence, robotics, and related emerging technologies.
      • Cloud Platform Proficiency, demonstrating expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and familiarity with AWS and Azure.
      • Generative AI Tool Expertise, exhibiting proficiency with public Generative AI platforms and tools, including but not limited to ChatGPT, Gemini, Anthropic, and other prominent providers.
