Registered Dental Hygienist Metro East Area La Cross Dental, a growing Dental Practice Administration and Laboratory with more than ten office locations that provide general dentistry, pediatric, periodontic, and specialty and cosmetic dental services, is looking to add a Registered Dental Hygienist at one of our offices in Edwardsville, Godfrey, Jerseyville, IL and St. Charles, MO. As a Dental Hygienist, you are responsible for working with patients to identify needs for treatment and areas for future monitoring, educating patients and caregivers on proper dental hygiene, infection prevention, and post-treatment instructions. You will work with dentists on treatment plans and accurately maintaining patient documentation and charts. If you enjoy putting your stamp on office culture, have the drive to help offices surpass production goals, thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced office, and want a healthy work-life -balance, read on!- $3500 Sign On Bonus after 60 Days As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you have experience with and are responsible for:In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations (HIPAA, OSHA)Proficiently using dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, CareStack, Dentrix, or similar) Taking digital radiographs, X-Rays, &/or impressions Treating periodontal disease according to ADA guidelines and the standards of care, explaining information to patients and addressing concerns Deep knowledge of the prevention skillsets - OCS, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments Conducting initial oral screeningsCleaning and protecting patient's teeth, while keeping a relaxed and friendly chairside mannerEducating patients and caregivers about proper dental care, treatment options, and post-procedure care Assisting Dentists with treatment plans for immediate issues and identify longer term areas to monitor Maintaining patient documentation & charts, both hard copies and electronic recordsMonitoring supplies and equipment, proactively requesting supplies or needs for equipment servicing As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you bring to the table:Valid Dental Hygienist License Local Infiltration and Block Anesthesia Certification CPR BLS - Healthcare Provider Level Sirona (or similar digital radiograph software) experience Experience assisting in different positions or on office-related projectsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsCompassion, patience, and history of treating all patients with respectBeing a team player willing to help coworkers, friendly and kind to everyone, professional and fun - not participating in or encouraging drama or consistently negative (we ALL will always have more to learn, go through life's ups and downs, and everyone benefits from positive attitudes and kind colleagues) Compensation details: 38-50 Hourly WagePId204f53a62f6-25660-36549344
