SSM Health is a leading healthcare provider in the region, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) to join our team at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing and assist in various neurological procedures.
**Key Responsibilities:**

• 
  
• Conduct and assist in ECGs, exercise tolerance, holters, BIOZ's, and Prime ECG procedures.
  
• Recognize cardiac rhythmic abnormalities and initiate CPR if necessary.
  
• Routinely check and troubleshoot EEG software and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
  
• Maintain accurate logs and perform calculations for required reports.
  
• Assist in Quality Assurance monitoring and environmental controls.
  
• Identify and correct for artifacts and edit results for attending physician analysis.
  
• Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.
  
  **Requirements:**
  
  • 
    
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
    
  • 2 years of experience in EEG technology.
    
  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation.
    
    **Physical Requirements:**
    
    • 
      
    • Constant standing and walking.
      
    • Frequent use of hearing and speech.
      
    • Frequent use of vision for distances near and far.
      
    • Occasional lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
