  • Job Details
  • IR Tech position in Interventional Radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, BJC HealthCare.
  • Procedural area with expectations for agency technologists to stay past scheduled shifts as needed.
  • Daily caseload of 6-8 procedures per tech, with 9 rooms available.
  • 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted.
  • Weekend requirement: every other Saturday 0800-1600, with on-call shifts during the week and weekends.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required.
    • BLS and ARRT certifications required.
    • C-Arm and Contrast experience required.
    • Pending state license accepted.
      • Schedule Information
      • On-call requirement: 1600-0730 during the week (Monday - Thursday).
      • Weekend call: Friday 1600 through Monday 0730, assigned 1-2 times in a 13-week assignment.
      • Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Interventional Radiology performs a variety of procedures including central venous catheter placements, diagnostic angiograms, and vascular-related procedures.
