qualified ER/Trauma RN in Springfield, Illinois, 62781 Pay
Information $2,218 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours:
Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment
without compensation for the canceled hours. Experience: Minimum 2
years required. Open to first-timers. Must have Cerner experience.
License: Must have active state license or be in the application
process. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required. Must-Have:
- General Emergency Department combined adult/pediatric experience.
- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills, including
dysrhythmia management. - IV Therapy/Phlebotomy experience with
skills such as blood product administration and starting IVs. -
Medication administration skills including continuous IV sedation
and emergency medications. - Neurological, orthopedic, pediatric,
psychiatric, and respiratory case experience. - Isolation
precautions and triage skills. Job Description: - Shift consists of
3x12 hours during the night. - Work involves a 56-bed emergency
department with an average daily census of 175. - Responsible for
weekend shifts, working every other weekend. - No on-call
requirements. - Will not be required to float to other units. -
Open to discussing block schedules. - Locals accepted without
radius restrictions. - RTO ideally no more than 5 days. - Required
to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Non-billable orientation up to
16 hours required. - Annual completion of non-clinical and clinical
modules. - This is a Level I trauma center with a magnet hospital
