qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63128 Pay
Information $1,912 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Medical ICU Job Duration:
13 weeks Shift: Nights, 19:00 - 07:30 Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
hours per week Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cardiac Medical ICU,
CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR
License: Current RN License (eligible for licensure in the state of
Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri)
Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA, preferred certification TNCC
Must-Have: 3 years of inpatient Cardiac Medical ICU experience Job
Description: - Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability for providing patient care.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct caregivers. - Coordinate patient care in conjunction with
other departments. - Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of
patient information. - Perform duties and responsibilities
consistent with our mission, values, and service standards. -
Provide direct patient care activities for all age groups,
including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. -
Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary
departments to optimize patient care and comfort. - Function within
the scope of nursing preparation and consistent guidelines of
nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and our Code of
Conduct. - Stand and walk most of the time on duty, meet
unit-specific physical demands, and handle a significant amount of
bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance. -
Work schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work frequency per
patient care requirements. - Manage high-risk exposure to blood and
body fluids. - Handle physical demands, including push, pull, and
grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl
minimally. - Utilize the nursing process to provide care for
patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical
comorbidities. - Maintain professional accountability for patient
care provision. - Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care
provided by other direct caregivers. - Coordinate patient care in
