Occupational Therapist Job Duties:Under the supervision of the Director of Therapy Relief at Hope, the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide and oversee occupational therapy treatments to improve fine motor skills, visual-motor coordination, visual-spatial processing, sensory, and daily self-care tasks. This position will provide services out of our Therapy Relief headquarters in St. Louis, MO.

• Assess individuals' performance and serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team in preparing, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans and therapeutic devices for assigned case load.
• Develop occupational therapy plans of treatment with short- and long-range goals based upon assessments.
• Recommend or fabricate adaptive equipment for daily living needs, including communication.
• Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans, including type of therapy and evaluations of the results.
• Provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers.
• Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an approved school of occupational therapy assistant.
  • Missouri licensure as a registered Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
