Staff Accountant
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our growing accounting operations. Reporting to the Controller, this role involves managing bank reconciliations, preparing month-end journal entries, conducting financial analyses, and assisting with various accounting functions. This position offers significant autonomy and the opportunity for professional growth as the company expands. This company has doubled their revenues in the last few years due to growth.
Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile bank accounts daily and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries.
• Perform financial analyses, cash flow forecasting, and investor reporting.
• Manage sales tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant agencies.
• Collaborate with AP/AR teams and project managers to maintain accurate financial records.
• Support external audits by preparing required documentation.Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required) with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with ERP software
